Even with a big screen, this PC stays compact and easy to carry.

Screen size makes a big difference in how comfortable and productive a PC feels, so we’ve equipped it with a 16.0-inch wide display—slightly bigger than the 15.6-inch screen found on many standard A4 notebooks. With about 11.4% more screen area, you can handle more tasks side by side and work more efficiently.

Despite the larger display, the overall size remains similar to a typical 15.6 inch notebook, so it won’t take up extra space at home and is still easy to take anywhere.

The screen is 11.4% larger than a typical 15.6 inch notebook PC (15.6-inch wide). The screen is much wider vertically, making it easier to browse websites and photos, as well as perform a variety of other tasks.

Extending battery life with "gentle charging" and measures to prevent deterioration

The built-in battery has a tendency to deteriorate and lose capacity if left fully charged. Therefore, VAIO provides a "Battery Care Function" that can set the upper limit of full charge to 80% and 90%. This prolongs the performance of the built-in battery.

Redesigned Keyboard with Improved Resistance to Dirt and Wear

Each key on the keyboard has a special UV coating surface treatment process, and the keycaps are laser engraved to resist fading. The keyboard letters are transparent and not easy to wear. Even in dim light, the keyboard layout can be clearly identified and input accurately.

Strong and beautiful flat aluminum palm rest

The palm rest is made of aluminum alloy. The fine brushed texture enhances the beauty and texture. The scratch-resistant surface treatment ensures that the gloss remains unchanged even after long-term use.

"A little something" for everyday use

The processor plays a big role in overall PC performance. If it’s too basic, you’ll feel the limitations in daily use, but if it’s too powerful, it can create excess heat and fan noise. The VAIO® F16 uses an Intel® Core™ U series processor that strikes a good balance. It provides enough power for tasks like word processing, spreadsheets, photo viewing, and watching videos, so you can work comfortably every day.

A reliable, long lasting battery

Reliable stamina that can be used for up to approximately 6.0 hours/11.5 hours (when playing video/when idle)* even when you're out and about and can't charge the battery.

The keyboard is thoughtfully designed for comfort during extended use. It features a tilt-up mechanism that automatically angles the keyboard for a natural typing posture when you open the screen. The keys are quiet to reduce typing noise, and each key has a slight concave shape that fits your fingertips, making daily typing smoother and more comfortable.

Supports fingerprint and facial recognition

It supports dual biometric authentication: fingerprint recognition with a simple touch on the sensor, and face recognition using the built-in camera. The power button also functions as a fingerprint reader, so you can turn on the device and log in from a powered-off or hibernation state with just one press. This lets you start working right away without having to type a password.

Easy to open, easy to hold

The top edge of the screen is shaped for a secure grip, making it simple to open with your fingers, while the back of the device is contoured for a comfortable hold when picking it up.

The large, easy-to-use touchpad is designed to respond accurately to your fingers while ignoring accidental palm contact, so the cursor won’t jump unexpectedly while you type.

You can also enable speaker output noise canceling to hear others more clearly. The dedicated VAIO Online Conversation Settings key lets you switch modes with a single touch.

Quick mute for peace of mind

You can instantly mute your microphone anytime by pressing the Fn and Tab keys together — no matter what app you’re using — so you never have to scramble to find the mute button.

A camera that keeps you looking your best

Good video calls need a good camera. The high-resolution front camera automatically adjusts brightness to match the lighting in your environment, so your face stays clear and naturally lit — whether you’re near a window or under indoor lights. The camera is also angled slightly downward, helping keep you in frame when you tilt the screen to a comfortable viewing angle.

You can set a pre-defined image as the background during video calls.
Privacy Framing
You can manually adjust the area captured by the camera so that more of the background is not captured than necessary.
Camera video pause function
You can pause (pause) camera recording. The image from the moment you pause will continue to be displayed to the other party, so even if you go to have a drink or leave your seat for a short time, they won't be able to see you.
Digital Privacy Shutter
The camera privacy shutter allows you to stop (black out) the camera footage without physically blocking recording.
Face Priority AE Function
The brightness of the face on the screen is adjusted appropriately according to the lighting and other lighting conditions in the room.
Auto-framing function
The camera automatically adjusts to display the user's face at the optimum size and in the center.
Skin beautifying effect
We offer a "skin beautifying effect function" that smooths and naturally corrects the skin, giving the person you're speaking to a clean-cut impression.

Smart camera privacy control

The built-in camera shutter lets you turn off the camera easily, without needing to navigate any software settings. This gives you quick peace of mind and helps protect your privacy whenever you need it. An LED indicator also lights up when the camera is active, so you always know when it’s on.
